The Festive Season

Christmas Twenty Ten; Possibly one of the most enjoyable and relaxing Christmas' that we have had yet.  This year we chose to travel North in to the Kimberlies and head for Broome with friends.  We arrived on Christmas Eve just in time to down a few drinks and enjoy a BBQ at our resort amongst the wonderful weather.

Christmas morning was of course traditionally spent opening presents and spreading Christmas wishes to friends and family via phone.  A chat to our niece, Marley, via Skype made our day.  She was very excited to show us what Santa had brought her, priceless!  We later spent most of the day poolside enjoying the glorious Kimberley weather.  We even managed a stroll along Cable Beach followed by the inaugural 'Nanna Nap' before heading to the Sunset Bar at Cable Beach Resort for traditional Christmas Dinner.

Whilst in Broome the boys managed to sneak in 18 holes on the famous Broome Golf Course whilst the girls visited Chayoha Day Spa at Cable Bach for a morning of pure indulgence and relaxation, topped off by an afternoon of shopping.  We later boarded upon our sunset scenic flight (thanks Kimberley Aviation) and cruised the strip up and down Cable Beach as the sun came down.

We managed an uneventful drive home and were soon back to reality.

Our New Year was seen in with friends in Port Hedland.  Once again another relaxing and enjoyable evening.
